| Assistant Engineer | The candidate has to have an engineering degree in the below disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University. Electronics engineering:– Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Power Electronics/Electronics and Power/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics. Electrical Engineering:– Power Engineering/Power Electronics/Power System & High Voltage/Electrical, Instrumentation, & Control/Electrical & Electronics/Electrical Mechanical Engineering:– Power Engineering/Mechanical & Automation/Thermal/Production & Industrial Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Production/Mechanical. Instrumentation Engineering:- Electrical Instrumentation and Control/Instrumentation and Control/Electronics and Instrumentation. |

Note: SC ST and PWD candidates have been exempted from the minimum marks criterion, SC-ST and PWD candidates will need only passing marks.

Age limit
Normal 21 to 30 years old candidates are eligible for applying to the posts. If you belong from SC/ST category, then you have exemption on 5 years upper age limit, or if you have been belonging from OBC category, then there is 3 year exemption, or 10 years relaxation if you are billed from PWD category.

Selection Process
The selection process will be entirely based on the written examination.The written test will be divided into two parts, such as subject knowledge test and aptitude test. The candidate will have to pass both these tests separately, after the candidates will be selected on the basis of test score and reservation.

Application Fees

Offline Application fees mode: To pay the offline application fee, the candidates will have to go to the official website and take a printout of the Offline pay-in-slip. By taking the printout, the candidate will have to go to the nearest SBI branch and pay the application fee. On the deposit of the fee, the bank will provide the journal number and branch code to the candidate, which the candidate will have to fill the journal number and branch code at the time of applying.
Online application fees mode: Candidates can use Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card for depositing online application fees. To pay the online application fee, the candidate will have the option of an Online pay-in-slip on the official website. By going to the option of pay-in-slip, the candidate has to pay the application fee and upload the printout of the application fee (<500KB).
