| Scientist – F (Life Science) | i) Master’s degree needed in Life Science in Environmental Science, Biotechnology/Marine Biology from a recognized university or national laboratories or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks with First class division. ii) Should have a minimum of 06 years of experience in Supervision or training, Administration, Planning, Survey, Research, and Development, etc. in any of the fields of marine biology, climate change, coastal ecosystems, marine biotechnology, fish culturing, environmental science and engineering. |
| Scientist – C (Mechanical) | i) Bachelor’s degree needed in Mechanical Technology or Engineering discipline with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution. ii) At least 03 years of experience in Planning, Survey, Research and Technology Development, Supervision or Training, etc. in any of the areas of engineering or technology. |
| Scientist – D (Physics/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical) | i) Bachelor’s degree needed in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical engineering or technology or MSc degree in Physics discipline with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution. ii) Minimum 07 years of experience required in Supervision or Training, Panning, survey, Research, and development, etc. in any of the areas of ocean engineering or technology and/or design/operation and development of underwater vehicles and systems. iii) Also, should have at least 02 years of experience in submersible piloting operations. |
| Senior Executive | Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution and should have basic knowledge of computers. |
